Dickinson Pet Expo is back for 2026!

WHEN: September 12th, 2025

WHERE: West River Ice Center - 1865 Empire Rd. - Dickinson, ND

WHO: ALL dog lovers and their (leashed) friendly dogs!

WHAT: Fun for the whole family to benefit local rescues and our pet food bank

HOW MUCH: This event is FREE to the public!

Want to vend with us? We will be accepting submissions for vending starting July 1. Check back to sign up! Space is limited.

Youth Show

Come support our hard working dog loving kids as they showcase what they have learned on showmanship, handling and training with their dogs. Interested in learning more on how your child can start getting ready? Contact Us.

Dickinson Pet Show

Want to show off YOUR dog? This is the event for you. We will be taking entries for cutest dog, ugliest dog, best dressed dog and more. Does your dog have some skills to show off? We will also have rounds to show off your own dog training and handling skills and your dogs' talents.

Entries will open in July of 2026

Vendors

The following vendors joined us in 2025 - we hope to have them and more back for 2026!

This event is dog friendly, but please refrain from bringing dogs that are reactive to other pets, people or crowds.

All dogs MUST be on a leash and we will not allow retractable flexi-leashes in the building due to safety concerns.

All pets must be vaccinated and free of parasites to join us.

Featured Rescues

Bakken Paws is a 501(c)3 pet rescue located in Dickinson, ND. It is run entirely by volunteers, foster homes and donations from the community. They take in animals in need, provide them with veterinary care as needed and accept applications for new homes once they are healthy, vetted and fixed. Proceeds from our expo will go towards Bakken Paws to help as many pets in need as possible! https://www.facebook.com/bakken.paws/

Oreo’s Animal Rescue is a nonprofit adoption guarantee organization committed to improving the lives of all animals. As an adoption guarantee organization, we embrace all animals and do not believe in the process of destroying them to control pet overpopulation. No animal in our control is ever euthanized unless they are suffering or considered dangerous. We believe that a strict spay and neuter policy is the only way to truly impact the number of unwanted animals in our community. Featured Pet Food Bank

Furever Full is a nonprofit 501(c)3 pet food bank dedicated to helping owners that are struggling to keep their pets when they fall on hard times. Without donations from the community, Furever Full would not be able to do what it does. Donations of dog food, cat food, cat litter, treats, bird and small animal food, bedding, toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, beds, kennels etc are all welcome. Monetary donations are especially helpful as they work with another organization to get pet food at a reduced cost, allowing them to offer more to the community. Volunteers are always needed!
